It got excellent reviews on Amazon and I am now busy thinking of strategies to promote its sale in bookshops. After the sorrows of last year its good to have something positive to think about so, perhaps you will forgive me for blowing my own trumpet. Am hoping this is the start of a real writing career.

ReplyDeleteOuch! Did the blog software toss away my reply? I am sorry you had a year as rough as that... I lost two people who meant a lot to me in 2007 and for quite some while I didn't feel alive at all.
ReplyDeleteI get headaches from trying to read e-books (haven't gotten to the Kindle thing yet) so I'm starting a short-list with your book since it doesn't seem to be on the USA Amazon. Every so often there's something I have to go to Amazon UK to get, I save it up till there's a few things. I like the flavor of the bits that are available to read.
Oh sorry to hear that 2013, oh I just read what you wrote above, you lost both of them? That is so so tragic, my heart goes out to you, I don't think I could bear that pain, I am so sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tabitha. They were good, honourable people who sacrificed their youth in the Second World War and were of the generation that ensured post war prosperity. I intend writing about them more fully in the future. Thank you again xxx
